If you're using Tresorit on an Android mobile device, you have the option to access your files not only in the cloud, but also offline, in case you don't have internet access.
How to mark a file for Offline use?
Tresorit uses a straightforward procedure to make your files available for offline use.
While in the app, selecting the 3 vertical dots on the right side of any Tresor, Folder or File you'll see a small slider with the "Offline" label. Enabling this will make the selected data available offline after a download procedure. Depending on the size of the file or folder, this can take a few minutes.
Offline data displays a small blue "downloaded" icon on its bottom.
After the download is finished, you can select the "Offline" tab on the bottom right of the main screen that shows your Tresors. You'll find all of your offline files and folders listed in this tab.
The default download location is: /mnt/sdcard0/Android/data/com.tresorit.mobile - here you can find your files while browsing your File Explorer.
How to export a file?
Another option for offline use is to "Export" a file.
This lets you select a download location on your phone and downloading a copy of the selected file.
You'll be able to find the file with a file explorer and open it even if you're offline.
Please note, that by default any exported document is read-only, thus cannot be modified.
