To make sure your files are syncing correctly, please check to see if your computers are connected to the Internet and are linked to the same Tresorit account. If your computers are in sync and you still find that a file isn't appearing as expected, the file may have an issue that prevents Tresorit from syncing it.
Please check whether any of the following issues apply:
- If there are multiple tresors still syncing (visible inside the Tresorit app), the file may not have been synced yet. In this case, it might take time but the upload will happen eventually. If possible, increase your upload bandwidth limit under Settings (on Windows) / Preferences (on Mac) to speed up the process.
- Files that look like temp files or shortcuts are not synced in Tresorit by design. You can easily identify these temp files, since they usually start with a full stop, for example: ".confidental_info.docx". In case you’d still like to sync a similarly named file, please change its file name.
- Let’s say that you have two files "Apple" and "apple": in this case only one will sync. Also files with spaces at the end (eg. "Apple ") will not sync. Currently Tresorit does not support the following special characters: \ / : * ? " < > | and will not sync files that contain any of these in the file or folder name. Please remove or replace them. If you have checked and your issue does not match with any of the above mentioned ones contact us with your question.
