In this article you can troubleshoot DRM installation failures.

Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Office 2013, Microsoft Office 2016
DRM Installation failed Contact Support. This error can happen due to the following reasons.
No Permission to run installers:
The Tresorit DRM addin is installed by downloading installers to sub-folders of C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Tresorit\v0.8\*
If you have applocker or similar technology enabled please allow executables to be run from these folders during the installation process.
Some installers cannot run if Windows update is in progress, please try and install all windows updates and restart your PC.
To install DRM you can also try our offline DRM installer:
step 1) Please download the offline DRM installer from: https://support.tresorit.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/205265618/TresoritDrmInit.zip
step 2) After downloading the .zip files, please click on "Extract all", then click on "Extract"
step 3) Please run the TresoritDRMInit.exe
Office 2010 may need the following hotfix for compatibility reasons, please close all office applications before installing the hotfix:
After installing the hotfix please try and install DRM from the tresorit client again.
