  • Practicing another language? To make changes faster, you won't need to restart the Tresorit app, to make the switch.
  • We made file management a bit easier in the Tresorit app:
    • we introduced multiple selection within the app on the Cloud browser and Links tabs.
    • You can copy folders, if needed.
  • While we polished the way we handle deleted accounts, we also realized that many of the deletions happen because of forgotten passwords. (No worries, it happens.) To support you better, we updated the user deletion flow and from now on the reset flow is part of your options.
    • Ps. Don't forget that deleting your account is a permanent action. We added a few extra warnings to the flow too.
  • If you are a Tresorit for Business user, the help is a click away: select Help Center menu in the left menubar.
  • Dock icons & status bar icons show the state of Tresorit: sync paused, logged out or no internet connection is visible right from the taskbar icon

  • You can remove all deleted items of multiple tresors at once under the Preferences tab.
  • Selective sync folders quickly by tapping can manage multiple subfolder's sync settings via a right click. Simply select "sync this folder" in the list.

To make the upload process more visible, we added placeholder items that appear in cloudbrowser when uploading to a synced tresor via drag'n'drop. Also a small thing but when you want to close Tresorit, the app will quit faster

  • We are introducing the option to set custom bandwidth limit scheduling up to your Tresorit Account. It helps you to keep sync at the bay when you need bandwidth for something else, and speed up things when needed.
  • We've changed how often Tresorit should refresh: it's every 15s when in focus and will only be every 5 minutes after the first timeout
  • This release also includes design updates: we've redesigned the Empty status on details bar, a several text colors have changed, and we've updated the icon of the Uninstaller app.

We restructured the Preferences screen by splitting it into two. A few features were moved to the new Advanced tab and descriptions will help to better explain how these features work.

This release also includes quiet a few improvements and fixes:

  • Cut, Copy, or Paste elements using keyboard shortcuts in Tresorit (by using the Cloudbrowser view)
  • Invites might get lost, we get it. So when someone wants to resend a link and opens up the list where all members of the tresor are displayed copying the link will pop up the option to send it in email.
  • Fixes focusing on the 10.9 version include a bugfix of the Link creation flow and if you decide to send a link via email, the flow will be more reliable. Another important improvement was released to fix time display issues for file version history: during a given time period only one of the following items will appear: today, yesterday, 1week ago, 1 month ago, etc.

3.0.965.585 - 24.02.2017.– PUBLIC RELEASE  

  • Tresorit for OSX release includes an important update which will help to decrease CPU and memory usage by migrating user's account info to a new scheme.
  • We are releasing a version where users can upload multiple files or folders (similarly to how data is managed in the Finder) and the app also handles conflicts
  • We divided the Details page for better visibility and info management.
  • Bugfixes including the issue that prevented users to create tresors by right clicking on an element in the Finder after Tresorit updates.

Improvements in the various flows how a tresor can be created:

  • When a tresor is created by right clicking on an element in the Finder or by drag&droping a folder into the Tresorit app, Tresorit won't pop a confirmation question, the folders will show up in your tresor list automatically.
  • We also had two design updates: when you create a new tresor in the Tresorit app, the flow will use more Native to Mac elements. On the other hand the icon of new tresors in the tresor list will be Tresorit blue.
  • When an invitation to a tresor is accepted, Tresorit will pop a question to the new member of the tresor to highlight the option of syncing the tresor.

  • Introducing a new sharing process: From now on you can create a link for any tresor/folder/file and share content via these.
  • To keep the process easy to use and intuitive we also added more email provider connections, so from now on you can choose out of 5 options (Mail, Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc.) during the sharing process. To add more transparency we also redesigned how you can check who are the Members of tresors (people with whom a tresor is shared).

  • You might have noticed that we are updating the fonts Tresorit uses: from this version fonts will be unified all over Tresorit for Mac

  • Updates were done to better support the localization of Tresorit.
