Does Tresorit have a free plan?
Yes, it is called Tresorit Basic for users who signed up before June 30th, 2016 and for new users, we have now transitioned to Tresorit Reader. These plans offer a convenient way to collaborate with Tresorit Solo, Business, and Premium customers, even if you don’t want to purchase a license.
What’s the difference between Tresorit Basic and Reader plans?
Both plans include a sensible amount of storage, the ability to join a shared tresor and to download, modify and upload files from you shared folder.
Note: If you registered before June 30th, 2016, your free plan is Tresorit Basic. For users who registered after June 30th, 2016, your free plan is Tresorit Reader.
I wanted to register for a free plan, but I got a Tresorit Premium trial. Why?
We want to give you a head-start with Tresorit: the first 14 days of your subscription is on us! Experiment with Premium features and see for yourself what Tresorit is capable of: for the first 14 days, you have access to all Premium features without any limitations.
It’s up to you if you keep your Premium access or switch to the limited Reader option after your trial period ends. You don’t have to submit a credit card for the trial, only in case you want to keep using Tresorit Premium.
