When you first sign in to Tresorit, you will see a folder on your account by default — your first tresor. You can start uploading your files now directly to this folder or create a new one to better organize your files.
📝 Note: Tresors are secure, encrypted parent folders to files you store in the cloud. Any local folder on your computer can be turned into a tresor, so there’s no need to change your existing directory structure to sync files.
There are three different ways of creating new tresors: add a new folder to the cloud, drag & drop existing folders or sync a local folder.
Add a new, empty tresor
Create an unsynced folder, where you can upload files and subfolders. This folder will only be available on the cloud by default, which means that changes you make on your local files won’t sync to the cloud automatically. You can turn sync on any time.
