Receive confidential documents from vendors and clients right to your Tresorit account through file requests. The transfer is completely encrypted, which guarantees that everything stays between the two of you unless you decide to add others in the loop.
How to create a file request

Right-click a tresor or folder.

- Click Create a file request.
- Add a title and set up an expiry date.
- Click Create.
- Copy the link and share it through a secure channel.

- Tap Create a file request.
- Name your file request and set up an expiry date.

Accept files
You will receive an email every time someone adds new items to your file request. You can review, accept, download and discard these files in your Tresorit app.

- Navigate to your File Requests tab.
- Right-click the file request, then click View pending files.
- Select the files you need, then click Accept selected.
- You can now discard the files you don’t need or download files to your desktop without adding them to your cloud.

- You’ll see a popup letting you know that there are pending files in your file request.
- You can choose to accept, discard, or view all files.
Closing a file request
You can close a file request when you don’t need it anymore — however, you won’t be able to reopen it later.
- The link will be revoked and others won’t be able to upload new files.
- The uploaded items won’t be deleted. You can still review and download the received files.
- The file request stays in this closed state for 90 days – after that, it will be deleted along with the uploaded files.
