You can change your Tresorit password at any time, as long as you know your current password or are logged in to your Tresorit account on one of your devices. For security, your new password must be at least 8 characters and include a combination of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers.

- Open the desktop app.
- Click your name in the lower-left corner.
- Go to Application settings → Account.
- Click Change password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password twice.
- Confirm with Change password.
- Open Tresorit.
- Tap
Settings.
- Tap Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password twice.
- Confirm with Change.
- Open Tresorit.
- Tap the three dots
in the top-right corner.
- Tap
Settings.
- Under Privacy, select Change password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter the new password twice.
- Confirm with Change.
- Open your Profile page.
- In the Password section, click Change password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter the new password twice.
- Confirm with Change password.
Important notice
Changing your Tresorit password does not automatically log you out of active browser or app sessions. Existing sessions remain signed in until they are manually signed out, unlinked, or expire.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, revoke any suspicious browser sessions and unlink untrusted devices.
