Eligibility
To qualify, an organization must:
- Be an independent, non-governmental organization (NGO) or voluntary group.
- Have a clearly defined charitable or philanthropic mission.
Not eligible
- Educational institutions (schools, colleges, trade schools)
- Government agencies and political or advocacy groups
- Medical institutions and hospitals
- Credit unions, financial, and loan organizations
- Sports, employee, or membership benefit organizations
- Religious organizations (unless operating a dedicated secular community entity)
Anti-discrimination policy
Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible.
Applicants must confirm that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds.
Application process
- Apply for the annual Business plan.
- Upload official proof of tax-exempt or charitable status issued by a recognized tax authority (e.g. IRS, BZSt, HMRC, or local equivalent).
- Test Tresorit free during the 14-day trial while your application is reviewed (up to 5 business days). Once approved, the 50% discount applies directly to your first invoice.
Program terms
- Active paid subscriptions cannot be renewed using this discount. Contact us for questions.
- Each organization can receive only one discounted subscription.
- Discounts are available for organizations only (not individuals) and cannot be transferred or resold.
- The program is available worldwide with valid proof of eligibility.
- Approved organizations agree to be featured as a public Tresorit reference or case study upon request.
- Tresorit may use a third-party partner to verify eligibility and manage program renewals.
