At Tresorit, an account is your login, while a subscription is the plan you choose.
Account
- Your account is created with your email address and a password, which you use to sign in to Tresorit.
- An account is always required to access Tresorit.
- If you don't select a paid plan, you'll have a free Basic account (with no subscription).
Subscription
- A subscription is the plan you select (Personal, Professional, Business, or Enterprise).
- To start a subscription, enter your email address, billing details, and payment method. You'll then receive an email asking you to verify your address and set a password, which completes your account setup.
- You can use Tresorit with just an account, but you cannot use a subscription without an account.
⚠️ Always use the same email address for both your account and your subscription – otherwise, they won't connect.
