Access all your Tresorit folders and files securely in your computer’s file browser, regardless of whether you synced it or not.
This feature is especially useful for those who wish to seamlessly and securely access all their files from the desktop, regardless of how much space they have available locally.
Everything in your team’s or company’s tresors that you’re given access to, whether it’s stored locally or in the cloud, will show up in your Tresorit Drive on your Mac or Windows desktop. Please note that you don’t have to sync complete tresors to access specific files / subfolders Direct File Open (DFO) and Selective Sync will have your back if you quickly need access to a part of your data.
Regarding some limitations, please also note that you cannot move, or rename a folder with Tresorit Drive. There is also a file size limitation both on Windows and Mac: You can upload or download files up to 50MB.

Does Tresorit require any additional permissions to run DFO or the Tresorit Drive on Mac?
Tresorit does not run, need or have kernel access while running. While Tresorit itself runs in the userspace, kernel access is required for Tresorit Drive. We access the kernel via FUSE, a third-party application that is specifically designed for separating the application from the kernel.
This feature is already available for OSX and Windows users. The Linux versions is under development.
