You can manage your active file requests under File Requests in the desktop app and Web Access.
Edit a request
- A request's name and expiry date can be modified at any time.
- The destination folder can only be changed for classic folders. This option is not available for next-gen folders.
- You can't select a destination folder that already has an active file request.
- Files already accepted are not affected by any changes.
- Pending uploads will be saved according to the new settings once accepted.
- Right-click the request.
- Select
File request settings.
- Make your edits.
- Click Modify to save.
Close a request
Close a request when it is no longer needed.
- The request link will be revoked, and no further uploads are possible.
- Closed links cannot be reopened.
- Files already uploaded remain available – you can still review, accept, and download them.
- Closed requests are stored for 90 days. You can delete them manually, or they will be permanently deleted, along with any pending items, after the retention period.
- Right-click the request.
- Select
Close file request.
- Confirm by clicking Close request.
- It will be moved to the Closed requests section.
Permanently delete closed requests
- Right-click the closed request.
- Select
Delete file request.
- Confirm by clicking Delete.
ℹ️ Delete all closed requests at once by selecting Delete all now.
