Tresorit is operated by Tresorit AG (Switzerland) and uses Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to provide secure, high-performance services.
By default, encrypted customer content is stored in Microsoft Azure data centers in Ireland (EU). For customers based in Switzerland, it is stored by default in Swiss data centers.

Data Residency Options (DRO)
Data Residency Options (DRO) allow Business and Enterprise customers to store encrypted content in one of the available Microsoft Azure locations. Metadata (such as usability statistics and other operational or access-related information) is always stored separately in Microsoft Azure data centers in Ireland.
