When you use another computer, sometimes you will need to sync your Tresorit files for easier editing– in these cases, local wipe comes in handy. When you sign out from Tresorit, you have an option to delete all synced folders from the device.
🏆 Pro tip: If you only need to edit small files, you can do it easily through Tresorit after enabling direct file open.
How to delete all synced folders

- Open Tresorit.
- Navigate to Application Settings.
- Click Account.
- Click Sign out.
- Check the box next to Unlink this device from your account.
- Check the box next to Also delete synced folders.
- Click Unlink and delete synced folders.
- Open Tresorit.
- Navigate to Preferences.
- Click Account.
- Click Sign out.
- Check the box next to Unlink this device from your account.
- Check the box next to Also delete synced folders.
- Click Unlink and delete synced folders.
Navigate to Settings and sign out from Tresorit on your mobile app — your device will be unlinked from your account automatically.
💡 Why is that? Mobile devices do not have a sync feature; however, you can mark tresors for offline access which makes it easier and faster to view and edit your files. When you sign out from Tresorit on a mobile device, you also delete tresors marked for offline access.
Click the three dots on top, then select Settings. Scroll down and sign out from Tresorit on your mobile app — your device will be unlinked from your account automatically.
