To protect your data if a device is lost or stolen, you can unlink it from your account.
- When you unlink a device, it disconnects from your account immediately.
- On computers, Tresorit can also remove locally synced files the next time the app launches.
ℹ️ Business subscription admins also have the option to wipe user devices.
- Unlink a device
- End a web session
- Open your Security page.
- Select the device you want to remove and click Unlink.
- To delete locally synced data on a computer, select Delete synced files from this device.
- Confirm by clicking Unlink again.
- Enter your password and click Confirm.
- If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, enter the verification code and click Verify Code.
- The device will disconnect and appear under Unlinked devices.
ℹ️ To disconnect all devices at once, select Unlink all.
- Open your Security page.
- Scroll to Web Sessions, hover over the session you want to end, and click Sign out.
- In the pop-up window, click Next, enter your password, and click Confirm.
- If 2FA is enabled, enter the verification code and click Verify code.
- The selected web session will end and disappear from the list.
ℹ️ To sign out of all web sessions at once, select Sign out all.
