🏆 Pro tip: In general, we recommend syncing your important files to Tresorit to keep them safe and up-to-date on all devices. Working on your files straight out of synced folders will let you take advantage of many useful features like version history and mobile access.

How to rename files and folders
As an owner, manager or editor in a folder, you can rename files and folders and the parent folder itself by choosing Rename from their right-click menu.
How to move files and folders
You need to be an owner, manager or editor in a folder to be able to move files around. If you are a viewer in a folder, you can see and download its contents but won’t be able to make edits or change the structure. You can move files, folders and main folders as well, the choice is yours.
🏆 Pro tip: You can move files between main folders as well using the Windows, Mac and the Linux application. However, if the main folders are synced to your desktop, you can simply move them in your file manager. This change will sync to Tresorit, then to other collaborator’s computers as well.
