Detailed access logs provide a complete view of how your shared links are used. They capture key activity details which helps you monitor engagement, verify access sources, and maintain better control over your shared content.
ℹ️ Basic, Personal Lite, and Personal Essential plans only show download dates.
Data logged
In addition to expiry date and open count (visible in the Shared Links view), access logs provide detailed data about every interaction with your shared link.

Date – Timestamp of each event
File – The file or folder accessed
Visitor – Visible only if Require email to view is enabled
IP Address – Location of access
Platform – Operating system and browser used
File Actions – Event type (Viewed or Saved)
timestamp – Date and time when the event was recorded
linkSessionId – Encrypted session ID of the access
event – Event type (Viewed or Saved)
email – Empty unless email is required
ipAddress – IP address of the visitor
country – Country of access
city – City of access
osName – Operating system used
clientName – Browser used
fileName – Name of the accessed file
Enable access logs
ℹ️ Enterprise users can enable additional document analytics in the logs.

Track link activities

You can view detailed activity for each link directly in Tresorit, and export the logs by selecting Export CSV.
