Activity logs provide a detailed overview of events in main folders and Engage rooms. You can export the full report as a CSV file containing all events performed by members.

- Right-click the main folder.
- Select
Activity.
- Click Export .csv.
- Choose a location and click Save.
ℹ️ Available for the Owner and Managers of the room.
- Open the room.
- Click the three dots
in the top right.
- Select Activity log.
- Click Export to CSV in the top-right corner.
- The file is saved to your default download location.
Activity fields
The CSV file shows details grouped by feature types. For each action, only the relevant fields will contain data; the rest will be blank.

tresor
The main folder from which the activity log was exported.
timestamp
The date and time when the server recorded the event.
modifierFirstname, modifierLastName, modifierUserEmail
Information about the folder member who performed the action. If the user's account was deleted before the report was generated, these fields may be empty. The identity may also appear as anonymous when actions were performed via a share link.
actionCategory
The feature group related to the event. Values: File, Permission, EncryptedLink, InvitationLink, LiveLink, FileRequestLink.
actionType
The specific type of action within a feature group. Values: FileUpdate, LiveLinkDownload, PermissionInvite.
fileID
The unique identifier for the file within the folder. This value may be missing if the file was permanently deleted before the event was logged.
sourceFileID
The original identifier of the file before it was moved, copied, or renamed.
filePath
The file's location within the folder at the time of the event.
sourceFilePath
The original file path before a move, copy, or rename operation. Not available for deleted files.
fileVersion
The version number of the file after the event. Increments with each action affecting the file (e.g. upload, modification, or deletion).
fromVersion
The version number of the file before the event.
uploaderEmail, isUploaderVerified
Information about the folder member who uploaded the file.
uploadDate
The date and time when the file was uploaded.
liveLinkId
The identifier of the link if the file was uploaded via a link. Available only for writable file live links.
fileId
The unique identifier of the file associated with the event.
filePath, pathType
The file's location within the folder where the permission event occurred.
objectFirstName, objectLastName, objectUserEmail
Information about the user affected by the event. These fields may be empty for invitations or for users whose accounts were deleted.
sourceFirstName, sourceLastName, sourceUserEmail
Available only for ownership transfers. Contains information about the previous folder owner.
fromPermission, toPermission
The user's permission level before and after the event.
fromMembershipState, toMembershipState
The user's membership status in the folder before and after the event.
ℹ️ Encrypted links were replaced by share links, but these entries are still listed in the activity log.
linkID
The unique identifier of the encrypted link. Generated randomly.
subjectFileId
The identifier of the file or folder shared via the encrypted link.
subjectFilePath
The path to the shared file or subfolder. If the link points to a folder, this field is empty.
subjectFileVersion
The version of the file or folder at the time it was shared.
fromDownloadLimit, toDownloadLimit
The link's download limit before and after the event.
fromHasExpirationTime, toHasExpirationTime
Indicates whether an expiration date was set before and after the event:
True: An expiration date was set.False: No expiration date was set.
fromExpirationTime, toExpirationTime
The expiration timestamp before and after the event. A value of 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z indicates that no expiration date was set.
linkID
The unique identifier of the folder invitation link for users without a Tresorit account.
subjectFileId, subjectPath
The identifier and path of the subfolder associated with the event. Available only for subfolders within next-gen folders.
fromInvitationLimit, toInvitationLimit
The invitation link's open limit before and after the event.
fromConstraints, toConstraints
The invitee's email address and permission level before and after the event.
fromExpirationTime, toExpirationTime
The expiration date of the invitation link before and after the event.
linkId
The unique identifier of the share link.
subjectFileId
The identifier of the shared file or folder.
subjectFilePath
The path of the file or folder at the time it was shared.
subjectFilePathType
Indicates the type of the shared item:
Directory: The shared item is a folder or a subfolder.File: The shared item is a file.
fromHasOpenLimit, toHasOpenLimit
Indicates whether an open limit was set before and after the event:
True: An open limit was set.False: No open limit was set.
fromOpenLimit, toOpenLimit
The open limit before and after the event. A value of 0 indicates that no open limit was set.
fromHasExpirationTime, toHasExpirationTime
Indicates whether an expiration date was set before and after the event:
True: An expiration date was set.False: No expiration date was set.
fromExpirationTime, toExpirationTime
The expiration timestamp before and after the event. A value of 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z indicates that no expiration date was set.
hasPasswordChanged
Indicates whether the link password was modified during the event:
True: The password was set, changed, or removed.False: The password was not changed.
fromIsDownloadDisabled, toIsDownloadDisabled
Indicates whether the Disable download option was enabled before and after the event.
fromEmailNotification, toEmailNotification
Indicates whether email notifications were enabled before and after the event.
fromWatermarkContentType, toWatermarkContentType, fromWatermarkPosition, toWatermarkPosition
Information about the watermark feature before and after the event.
fromEmailWhitelistedUsers, toEmailWhitelistedUsers, fromEmailWhitelistSubscriptionAccess, toEmailWhitelistSubscriptionAccess
Indicates whether access was restricted to allowed (whitelisted) users before and after the event.
fromIsWritable, toIsWritable
Available only for cooperative links.
linkId
The unique identifier of the file request link.
fromTitle, toTitle
The name of the file request before and after the event.
fromHasExpirationTime, toHasExpirationTime
Indicates whether an expiration date was set before and after the event:
True: An expiration date was set.False: No expiration date was set.

The identifier of the file attached to a simple task.
fromTitle, toTitle
The task title before and after the event.
fromIsTitleEncrypted, toIsTitleEncrypted
Indicates whether the task title was encrypted before and after the event.
fromDescription, toDescription
The task description before and after the event.
fromStatus, toStatus
The task status before and after the event. Values: Todo, InProgress, Done.
fileId
The identifier of the associated object:
- Simple tasks: the identifier of the attached file.
- eSign request: the identifier of the file to be signed.
- Document request: the identifier of the target directory.
filePath
The human-readable path of the associated file or directory.
fileVersion
The version of the associated file or directory.
previousFileId
The previous file identifier before the task was modified.
previousFilePath
The previous file path before the task was modified.
previousFileVersion
The previous file version before the task was modified.
liveLinkId
The identifier of the eSign link. Available only for eSign requests.
fromDeadline, toDeadline
The due date set for completion of the task before and after the event.
fromAssignees, toAssignees
The assignees' email addresses before and after the event.
fromSignatureState, toSignatureState
The eSign request signature status before and after the event.
attachedObjectId
The unique identifier of the comment.
targetObjectId
The identifier of the object the comment belongs to:
- Task comments: the task's
attachedObjectId. - Page comments: the page's
folderId.
fromTargetObjectVersion, toTargetObjectVersion
The version of the comment target before and after the event.
replyTo
The identifier of the root comment that was replied to.
fromComment, toComment
The type of comment operation before and after the event. Values: CommentCreate, CommentModify.
fromStatus, toStatus
The comment status before and after the event. Values: Open, Resolved, Deleted.
fromMentions, toMentions
The mentioned room members before and after the event.
