Once you set up SSO, you won’t have to remember a separate Tresorit password anymore. You’ll be able to use your Office365, Google or Okta credentials to sign into your Tresorit account.
How to set up SSO when an admin has enabled it for you
- You’ll see a popup, letting you know that SSO has been enabled.
- Once you continue, you’ll have to enter your Tresorit password.
📝 Note: Forgot your password? Don’t worry. Since you’re signed in, you or your admin can reset your password. Learn more
- You’ll be redirected to your SSO provider’s login page. On this page, enter your company credentials.
🏆 Pro tip: For maximum security, make sure to always double check the URL, and only enter your password if you’ve arrived at the login page from your Tresorit app.
- And done! You can now sign in to Tresorit via SSO.
What happens after you’ve set up SSO
Once you’ve set up SSO, your Tresorit password and 2-step verification options will be managed via Office365, Google or Okta. This means that you won’t be able to change your password or 2-step verification options within Tresorit’s user interface.
To sign in to Tresorit, you’ll need to use your email address, password and 2-step verification options that you use with your Office365, Google or Okta account.
What to do if you have trouble accessing your Tresorit account
If you have trouble accessing your Tresorit account after SSO has been enabled, contact your admin or subscription owner. They will be able to reset your password or change authentication methods.
