The notification center in Tresorit shows all recent activity across your folders and rooms – the same updates as in the push emails, allowing you to stay informed directly in the app. All in-app alerts are encrypted and available for 90 days.
Access notifications
View activity: Click the icon to expand the notification center. Entries are listed in chronological order, and a number counter on the icon indicates new events.
Open the source: Click an entry to navigate directly to its source event.
Mark as read: Click the blue dot next to an entry (it changes to a checkmark
), or click Mark all as read at the top of the panel.
Mark as unread: Click the checkmark next to a read item to change it back to unread.
Notification details
Each entry provides direct context about the activity:
- User – Shows who performed the action.
- Action – Invites, comments and replies, or task, page, eSign, shared link, and file request activity.
- Location – The target folder in SecureCloud or room in Engage.
- Object – Item type and name (files, tasks, pages, eSign requests, or file requests).
- Additional metadata – Includes relevant details when applicable, such as invitation or link expiration dates, link creator information, or preview text for comment replies.
- Timestamp – Displays when the activity occurred.
