Available for all users on all platforms, remote wipe is a useful security feature that helps you keep control over your data when a device is lost or stolen. If you choose to remote wipe a device, all synced folders will be deleted from it the next time someone signs in to Tresorit.
Unlink a device from your account
When you unlink a device, it will be signed out from Tresorit and changes won’t sync anymore. You also have the option to delete locally synced data.
- Unlink a device
- Sign out from a web session
- Open Web Access.
- Navigate to the Profile tab.
- Click Security.
- Scroll down to Linked devices.
- Hover over a device on the list.
- Click Unlink.
- Check the box.
- Click Unlink & delete.
- Open Web Access.
- Navigate to the Profile tab.
- Click Security.
- Scroll down to Web sessions.
- Hover over a device on the list.
- Click Sign out.
- Click Next.
Remote wipe user data in Admin Center
Subscription Owners and Co-Owners can remote wipe data from user devices if Advanced Control is enabled for the subscription and it was accepted by the user.
- Open Web Access.
- Navigate to the Users tab.
- Click in a user's name.
- Navigate to the Devices tab.
- Hover over a device on the list.
- Click Unlink.
- Check the box.
- Click Unlink & delete.
